about Open Bible College

Open Bible College (formerly Harvest Bible College) was launched as a ministry of First Church of the Open Bible in Des Moines, IA, to prepare people for the call of God on their lives. OBC will train and equip Bible based, Gospel centered, and Spirit empowered servant leaders who will fulfill the Great Commission. The target age group will be students ages 18-29. This School of Ministry will be in the Bible Institute tradition which is Biblically accurate, academically challenging, intentionally hands-on, and purposefully affordable. Open Bible College will be a 2-year ministry training school split between Bible knowledge/academic training and hands-on ministerial involvement.
