Day 2: The Power of WE - Better Together 

  • Revelation 7:9–10 (NIV84) 9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
  • Matthew 24:14 (NIV84) 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Picture this: a pastor in the U.S. prays early in the morning, asking God to move in their town. Hours later, an Open Bible pastor in another nation stands in a simple building, praying for their village. Different continents, same Lord, one mission. They may never meet on earth, yet their prayers rise together before the same throne.

One of the beautiful realities of Open Bible Churches is that we are not alone. We are a global family.  Churches and ministers in multiple nations, all pursuing the same Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered mission. When we enter a united season of prayer and fasting, we are joining not just in spirit but in actual partnership with pastors and churches in many parts of the world.

Revelation 7 gives us a glimpse of the future: a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language worshiping the Lamb. Matthew 24:14 reminds us that the good news of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Our Open Bible family is one small but real part of that global story.

Today, as you fast and pray, lift your eyes beyond your own zip code. Consider that in this season, Open Bible believers around the nation and the world are fasting along with you. You’re not just leading a local church; you’re part of a global movement seeking an outpouring of the Spirit and a harvest of souls.

Could it be that as we pray for one another across borders, God knits our hearts together in fresh unity and releases new assignments? Your intercession for another nation may encourage a pastor you’ll never meet, strengthen a church you’ll never visit, and help open a door you’ll never walk through.

Prayer Focus:

  • Pray for at least one Open Bible nation beyond your own.
  • Pray for Open Bible missionaries, national leaders, and churches around the world. 
  • Ask God to give your church a deeper global burden, not just a local concern.

Imagina esto: un pastor en los Estados Unidos ora temprano por la mañana, pidiéndole a Dios que se mueva en su ciudad. Horas después, un pastor de Iglesias de la Biblia Abierta  en otra nación se encuentra en un edificio sencillo, orando por su aldea. Continentes diferentes, el mismo Señor, una sola misión. Tal vez nunca se encuentren en la tierra, pero sus oraciones ascienden juntas ante el mismo trono.

Una de las hermosas realidades de las Iglesias Open Bible es que no estamos solos. Somos una familia global. Iglesias y ministros en múltiples naciones, todos persiguiendo la misma misión centrada en Cristo y empoderada por el Espíritu. Cuando entramos en una temporada unida de oración y ayuno, no solo nos unimos en espíritu, sino en una verdadera colaboración con pastores e iglesias en muchas partes del mundo.

Apocalipsis 7 nos da un vistazo del futuro: una gran multitud de toda nación, tribu, pueblo y lengua adorando al Cordero. Mateo 24:14 nos recuerda que las buenas nuevas del reino serán predicadas en todo el mundo como testimonio a todas las naciones, y entonces vendrá el fin. Nuestra familia Biblia Abierta es una pequeña, pero real, parte de esa historia global.

Hoy, mientras ayunas y oras, levanta tu mirada más allá de tu propio código postal. Considera que, en esta temporada, creyentes de la Biblia Abierta de toda la nación y alrededor del mundo están ayunando junto contigo. No solo estás liderando una iglesia local; eres parte de un movimiento global que busca un derramamiento del Espíritu y una cosecha de almas.

¿Podría ser que, al orar unos por otros a través de las fronteras, Dios renueve nuestros corazones con una nueva unidad y libere nuevas asignaciones? Tu intercesión por otra nación puede animar a un pastor que nunca conocerás, fortalecer una iglesia que nunca visitarás y ayudar a abrir una puerta por la que nunca caminarás.

Enfoque de Oración:

  • Ora por al menos una nación de Biblia Abierta fuera de la suya.

  • Ora por los misioneros, líderes nacionales e iglesias de Open Bible alrededor del mundo. (Considere proporcionar una lista de esos líderes y misioneros nacionales como parte del devocional).

  • Pide a Dios que le dé a tu iglesia una carga global más profunda, no solo una preocupación local.
