Meet the McConnells
Bill and Fayth McConnell became missionaries to Northern Mexico with Open Bible Churches in 1998. They have a heart for the Mexican people and love to serve and share the Gospel with those in need of our Lord and Savior. It is the desire of their hearts to take the Gospel to the poor and underprivileged and to go wherever God opens a door for them. Their ministry involves building churches, serving at soup kitchens, assisting at day care centers and dormitories, ministering at orphanages, and working on other projects.
Many groups have come from the U.S. to Mexico to minister to the people and construct much-needed buildings. For ten years Bill and Fayth have ministered in the women’s prison and seen many lives transformed by God’s love and power. In 1988 the McConnells purchased a six-acre ranch where more than 80 men are recovering from drugs and alcohol and more than 30 elderly women live who suffer from disabilities. They have literally taken people off the street who were abandoned and destitute, and now they serve Christ.
The McConnells are grateful God sent Joy and Del, their daughter and her husband, to join them. Please continue your vital prayer support for this ministry. They said, "We believe the success of our ministry has been because of your prayers. Thank you for your financial support of our ministry. We appreciate your partnering with us as we make an impact on countless lives. Together we can accomplish so much more for the ministry here in Mexico."
