Missionaries Bill and Fayth McConnell and Del and Joy Brown are investing in the harvest of Mexico! Their purpose is to glorify God, bring people to Jesus Christ, and minister to the spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs of the disadvantaged people of Northern Mexico. To accomplish this mission, they have established many ministries.
Here are just a few of the ways the McConnells and Browns minister to those in need in Northern Mexico:
The McConnells and the Browns minister at the juvenile teen boys’ and women’s prisons each week. They teach a Bible study, sing worship songs, share a meal together, and spend time getting to know the boys and women. Many teens, women, and guards have come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through this ministry.
Rehab and Convalescent Care Ranch
This six-acre ranch serves men and women who are in need of shelter and medical care. The ranch also provides treatment for men struggling with drug and alcohol addictions. Leonso and his wife, Monica, are the leaders at the ranch. Leonso was once an addict living at the ranch he now leads and cares for.
This is an exciting ministry. The McConnells and Browns pass out five-gallon buckets filled with necessary staple type food and other needed items along with Bibles and tracts while taking time to witness and pray with people. There are so many needs.
Imuris Kids Kingdom
Kid’s Kingdom is a community center out of which local pastors Artuto and Lilia Jimenez operate a kid’s orphanage, day care center, kid’s ministry, and a church. The Jimenezes’ heart’s desire is to reach people at every level spiritually, socially, physically, and emotionally. They also provide counseling to help families struggling with alcohol and drug addictions and domestic violence. Many families are helped and come to the Lord through this ministry.
