Welcome to Legacy School of Ministry: Preparing the People of God for Ministry

Our purpose is based on Ephesians 4:11-12: And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ. (ESV) We take that concept one step further, by equipping the saints for LEADERSHIP, specifically as pastors, church planters, and missionaries.

We adhere to Open Bible Christian Center’s motto, “Loving God, Investing in People”, and understand that in order to increase our effectiveness in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we must equip and release leaders who will do so. We’ll help you answer God’s call on your life and reach your ministry goals.

A Customized Training Plan for YOU that doesn’t leave you buried in debt:
Legacy School of Ministry is unique in its targeted approach to ministry leadership preparation. Legacy offers comprehensive ministry preparation. Our hope is that this more practical approach will produce leaders who are fully ready to lead when they complete their studies. Because we have the flexibility to customize a student’s plan of study, we can graduate leaders who are specifically trained for the task God has laid before them.

We also encourage students to work part time while they study at Legacy - with a goal of graduating debt –free and ready to enter the workforce and/or ministry as a productive adult.
