The children at the Elida Orphanage may have been neglected and cast aside at one time, but they are precious in God's sight. The staff at the orphanage makes sure to introduce them to the Father of the fatherless, demonstrating His love for them by providing food, housing, healthcare, and other essentials. These children also learn about Jesus through Bible lessons. As each generation learns to live out the Gospel amid the uncertainty and heartbreak they’ve experienced, Elida Orphanage gives them a chance to build a strong foundation on the Word of God.
