Meet the Morgans
Early on, God placed a calling and a heart for missions on Justus and Michaela Morgan. They completed online missions training with the School of Global Leadership under the guidance of missionaries Mike and Pam Lumbard, gaining on-the-field experience in multiple countries, including Mexico, Kenya, and Trinidad.
Justus and Michaela are deeply committed to long-term missions and felt a strong calling to serve in the hard-to-reach and unreached places with the Gospel. Both possess gifts in leadership and worship ministry, which they have actively used in the field. Justus also brings expertise in technology and a passion for discipleship, while Michaela is developing her gifts in teaching and speaking, with a heart for languages and children’s ministry.
Having spent a summer serving in Tijuana, Mexico, the Morgans discerned God’s call to return and serve at Open Bible’s Puente de Amistad missions base. They are thrilled to now serve as directors of Puente de Amistad (Bridge of Friendship) in Tijuana. Puente is a Christ-centered short-term mission base where visiting groups and individuals stay while ministering in Tijuana. Visiting teams partner with local ministry workers to serve in orphanages, host neighborhood VBS programs, minister to men in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and feed the homeless in downtown Tijuana. They also mobilize teams and individuals for projects such as building homes for families in need, bringing hope and the love of Christ to the community.
