Hurricane Maria powered through Puerto Rico on Wednesday knocking out power to 100% of residents and damaged infrastructures across the island. As the strongest hurricane to hit the area in nearly a century, 150 mph winds raged and water flooded the streets. According to Puerto Rico Governor, Ricardo Rossello, restoring power could take months. Convoy of Hope is responding by sending a team to work with local partners and FEMA to distribute emergency supplies to survivors in need.
