MISSION VENTURE PLAN

Jesus gave every believer a command. We call it the Great Commission: “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19, NLT).

In an effort to fund opportunities to fulfill the Great Commission, Open Bible Churches implemented Mission Venture Plan (MVP). Through MVP, you can give to whomever you want, wherever you want, whenever you want! MVP's free-market system provides many giving options: for children in feeding kitchens and orphanages, for missionaries on the frontlines sacrificing all to preach the Good News, for new church plants in the States and around the world, for victims of natural disasters, schools that are building leaders for tomorrow's ministry ventures, and for many other possibilities.

There are three ways to give through MVP:

Individually

Simply pick and choose among the ministry ventures listed on the MVP website. Find the ones that touch your heart and add them to your giving basket.

Church's MVP Vision

Learn about the ministry ventures your church has chosen to support and give your donation through the church or on the MVP site, allowing your church to get credit.

Regional MVP Vision

Visit your region's MVP webpage and learn about the visions to which God is steering it.

Visit www.missionventureplan.org to learn about exciting ministries you can support. Hear the hearts of dedicated people who are helping fulfill our Great Commission responsibility. Select those ventures that resonate with your heart and spirit and give the amount of support you desire, just as with any online purchase. Then share the stories and ministry opportunities with your friends across your social networks, like Facebook. The exponential power of sharing via Facebook is amazing.

A couple of years ago a person in the Air Force, stationed in a location with no Open Bible Churches, watched a report on CBN about openings for the Gospel in Cuba. His heart was moved by what God was doing in that nation and he wanted to participate. Through his Internet search this man learned about Open Bible's churches in Cuba and contacted us. Though he knew nothing about Open Bible before this time, he knew the Lord spoke to his heart to give to help our Cuban brothers and sisters share God's Word. The Internet knows no political or denominational boundaries!

The Great Commission is not an option; it is imperative for all believers to be obedient to Jesus' command. We are excited to hear and share stories of how you use MVP to help meet needs throughout our world.
