Dr. Paul Leavenworth
Executive Director
The Convergence Group
Consultant to Open Bible Churches
The Convergence Group provides oversight for the development of a comprehensive and strategic plan for the identification, training, release and support of current and emerging leaders for the church and its mission to evangelize and disciple the nations. Both traditional and non-traditional leadership development and ministerial training tracks are available to the Open Bible constituency.
Situated on a beautifully modern campus overlooking the city of Eugene, Oregon, New Hope Christian College provides traditional, campus-based education. Accredited with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), New Hope Christian College has joined the Pacific Rim Christian College Consortium, which includes colleges in Hawaii, Japan, and Myanmar.
INSTE Bible College, available in the U.S. in English and Spanish, is Open Bible’s primary international ministerial preparation program. Utilized in many denominations and churches around the world, INSTE Bible College is accredited with the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council in Washington, D.C.
Other integrated models combine the strengths of both traditional and non-traditional programs.
Master’s Commission is a one to two-year church based discipleship program for young people transitioning from high school to young adulthood. The program involves living with a Christian host family while participating full-time in discipleship classes/activities, INSTE courses, service projects, and church and ministry outreach. Global Outreaches Unlimited serves as a leadership development delivery system in which college-age students are identified, trained, equipped, and given significant leadership opportunities on short-term mission trips.
For those involved in active ministry, other in-service training is also provided. |
