Open Bible ministers serve as chaplains in a variety of settings.
Some are pastors serving in part-time or volunteer positions
while others are full-time chaplains. Together they offer
people hope and faith in Christ far beyond the walls of the
institutional church. The chaplain's calling is a unique one
that takes God's love to work places, hospitals,
jails and prisons, senior citizen centers and residences,
parks and campgrounds, police and emergency services departments,
the military and other strategic locations. If you are interested

| Chaplain Burt is the senior ranking
Open Bible military chaplain having served over
25 years as a Navy chaplain. As the Chief of Chaplains
for the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, Chaplain
Burt is responsible for the vision and implementation
of religious ministries within the Sea Services.
He provides oversight and leadership for approximately
2,000 chaplains serving with the Navy, Marine Corps,
and Coast Guard. Prior to being commissioned as
a chaplain, he served for seven years as an enlisted
sailor. |

| As the First Army Command Chaplain, Chaplain Meek is responsible for overseeing and implementing chaplain ministries for a wide range of First Army personnel. He has served as an Army chaplain for over twenty years. Previous to being commissioned as an Army chaplain, he had prior enlisted time in both the Marine Corps and the Navy. |

Currently serving as the Senior Protestant Chaplain at Misawa Air Base, Japan. Chaplain Goecker has been an active duty Air Force chaplain for nearly 15 years and served as a chaplain in the Air Force Reserve prior to going on active duty. In April 2010 he began a 6 month deployment in Afghanistan.

In his civilian ministry, Chaplain Samorajski serves as a full-time hospice chaplain. |

| Chaplain Taylor is the first Open Bible minister to become a Supervisor of Clinical Pastoral Education. As Chief of Chaplains at the James A. Haley Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital in Tampa, Florida, Chaplain Taylor leads a group of chaplains who give spiritual care to our military veterans who access that facility for their medical care. Included in this group of veterans are many wounded warriors who have returned from our nation's battles including those most recently returned from the Iraq and Afghanistan theaters. |
