Jordan Bemis knew he wanted to serve God with his life, but didn’t know how. After going to Mexico twice in the same year with GOU (Global Outreaches Unlimited), he knew he was going to be involved with missions.
“Almost every day I found myself daydreaming about the mission field or about places I had been and people I had met,” he said. “GOU has allowed me to learn and grow and lead on these trips. I have been to Mexico, Chicago, Kenya, and Uganda. I have had some of the most fun and met some of my best friends on those trips.”
GOU serves as a leadership development delivery system in which college-age students are identified, trained, equipped, and given significant leadership opportunities on short-term mission trips. If you hunger to make a difference in this world and would like God to use you like never before, then Global Outreaches Unlimited is for you. GOU provides short-term missions trips for youth, giving them opportunities to develop leadership and cross-cultural ministry skills in a team environment. GOU does the “work,” you do the ministry!
