Cuba
Your church (in the U.S.) has a unique opportunity to partner with an Open Bible church in Cuba. (Open Bible churches in other countries may also adopt a church in Cuba.) Our brethren in Cuba live and minister in an impoverished and oppressive environment. You can help them through your prayers and financial giving. We encourage you to (1) pray regularly for the adopted church, pastor(s) and outreaches; and (2) sponsor the Cuban church with a monthly offering of $30-$50, which will help to repair the church building or pay rent, buy Bibles or simple church equipment, and bless the pastor and his family. Any correspondence with the Cuban church should flow through the International Ministries office.

Ukraine
Your church (in the U.S.) may adopt a church in Ukraine and develop a relationship with an overseas church. (Open Bible churches in other countries may also adopt a church in Ukraine.) Ukraine is a former country of the Soviet Union and now has great freedom in preaching and teaching the Gospel. However, unemployment and economic distress hinder the evangelistic advance of the church. You can help them through your prayers and financial giving. We encourage you to (1) pray regularly for the adopted church, pastor(s) and outreaches; and (2) sponsor the Ukrainian church with a monthly offering of $30-$50, which will help to repair the church building or pay rent, buy Bibles or simple church equipment, and bless the pastor and his family. Any correspondence with the Ukrainian church should flow through the International Ministries office. |
