Open
Bible ministers serve as chaplains in a variety of settings. Some are
pastors serving in part-time or volunteer positions while others are
full-time chaplains. Together they offer people hope and faith in Christ
far beyond the walls of the institutional church. The chaplain's calling
is a unique one that takes God's love in Christ to work places, hospitals,
jails and prisons, senior citizen centers and residences, parks and
campgrounds, police and emergency services departments, the military
and other strategic locations. If you are interested in serving the
Lord as a chaplain please contact the chaplain's department of Open
Bible Churches.
Inquires may be sent to the Director of Chaplain Ministries:
Chaplain John Simmons,
Lt Col, USAF (ret)
2495 S. Bertelsen Rd., Eugene, OR 97405
